In the
quiet corner of the empty room, 2009
A lullaby in the quiet corner of the empty
room
A mint flavored candy leaps over the
heavenly roof Porcelain palate, glass, velvet veil.
The night arrives at the crescent room,
smiles, dreams, awaits and yearns.
Summer Affair, 2008
This summer I yielded to a flooding tide.
I got up on the small rowboat,
I floated around on the even weeping.
Sluggishly I wished leaving my neglected aim.
Muddy tongues licked up the walls and floor
sucking whatever might be limpid.
Swallowed the roof of the mouth ashore,
the lick undressed the rooms of pomp and pride.
My boat moved easily to the ceiling limit
where a lustrous beam drooped over the empty light.
I clung my weight to the rusty chain
and drowned in tears for the opaque hurt while
and saw the water overlaid the house,
slowly smoothing the even walls,
the last, intimate, closed,
libidinous soft gesture.
